European license plate triggering front parking sensors

Hi all, American with an American spec M235 with European plates here. My front plate definitely blocks some of the sensors on the front bumper and is causing my parking sensors to think I'm about to hit a wall. Is there a bracket out there for European plates to be maybe moved out of the way so I can effectively use park assist? I know I can turn it off, but it's a must have for a lot of the tight parking you've gotta do over here.

My F30 has an EU plate - so not exactly what you're dealing with - but the OEM bmw bracket does not bother the sensors. It's not cheap but it looks very nice.

The only ones I've found online were the ones on Ebay, do you know of another vendor that has them?

Call IND they can source EU parts for you. They just got me a set of visors with no warning labels. Takes 2-3 weeks.

You are in Germany correct? then go to a local BMW dealer and have them help you with the issue or use 3m double sided tape and get the plate taped to the bumper, this way the plate will be the closest to the bumper. Just my .02

If your kennzeichen - or 'plate' has a frame around it - remove. The plate without the mount frame and centered will not interfere with the sensor(s).
