You'd better sit down...

Ok, I have to tell you something and I’m not in a private area to call and you are going to go nuts. Yes, it involves your other baby, the red one THAT I DIDN’T WANT TO DRIVE. I pulled into the airport parking and scraped your front left tire. Not the tire but the silver round part in the middle at the very top of the round thing. I am SOOOO sorry. I feel sick. I was worried that I couldn’t reach the ticket thing and got too close. I know you hate me. How much will it be to fix? I’m SO SORRY. I wanted to tell you right away when I called this morning but you were on the way to work.

I still haven't quite figured-out what she means by silver....The car is Melbourne and the wheels are black. I suspect the silver thing is my scrapped black wheel!

Oh man...it hurts me just from reading this email. But you cant blame your wife, at least she told you the truth and not bs you with some excuse

You can always fix your car or replace it when it's broke to the same specs. You can't fix or replace your wife the same way.

Tell her no big deal and what's most important is that she's not hurt.

One of mine trashed a new car on a curb and blamed me for it.. Apparently the tire polish, "overcame" her Olympic level parallel parking abilities.

I can see how an outsider would read that into it...

Trust me when I say she was being dramatic with me for humor's sake. She knows how batshit crazy I've been over the years keeping my cars pristine. Not as crazy as 10, 15 years ago - but far beyond her in keeping a car up!

She's been by my side since 86 and married to me since 91...I'm a pretty damn good catch!

Could be worse at least she only messed up one of your cars. My mother once backed out of the garage with her Audi, hit my father's 500E (yes, the one with the Porsche engine), panicked and pulled forward and hit the house.
