M235i Order and First BMW

A few weeks ago I pull the trigger and ordered an M235i. I cannot wait for the car to get here!

Here's what I ordered: MG/CR/Brushed Aluminum trim/Cold Weather/Drivers Assistance/Premium/Tech/6MT/Stainless Pedals. I'll post some pics when the car gets here.

Tell me about it, I'm almost at the three week mark. I just called the "800" number and the lady (computer) told me the car is built and waiting to be released to the shipping company.

First time BMW owner as well. Coming from a B5 S4. BMW won out over the Audi S3 and CLA45 AMG due to the manual option.

I'm trading my G37x in. It will be nice to have a sporty performance car with a proper transmission again. The G is really nice to drive but I definitely made a mistake getting AWD.

lol, I've been reading the tracking thread in the other section. Hopefully I can find out what ship the car will be on.

The wait is part of the fun.

Track the boat across the ocean and checking the Owner's Circle 15 times a day should be part of everyone's purchasing experience...

This is my first BMW as well as I am coming from a g35 coupe. I was excited going into my dealership until he told me it was a 4 month wait. I placed the order anyways... and that was only a week ago...

Congrats! My first too! Taking Performance Center Delivery in Spartanburg on May 29th and the wait is killing me. Mine is on the Independence II which is currently at sea on it's way to Nova Scotia before coming to the states.

If you've got the money go for it. I looked at both the 2 and 4 series before ordering the 235i. But couldn't justify spending the extra $$$.

I ordered pretty much the exact same car but with an auto and no premium package. I'm also originally from Maryland. Hmm....yea, it's a sweet car and I love the Mineral Gray/Coral Red look.

Maryland sux tho

Okay, now the real wait is on. The boat made it though customs and is in port. I'm crossing my fingers that they don't take too long in the VPC.
