I really like the front turn lights

the link you provided for the deautokey SMG

http://deautokey.com/product/bmw-f2x...e-turn-signals

Does it include the front SMG turn lights? or I need to select it ? it seems to include all the lights?

Thanks

Yes, pretty expensive but I see they have a sale for 15% off when you spend $250. I emailed them and they gave me 15% off awhile back when I changed to LEDs and I have their new bau15s front turn too that was tested. I like it, brighter than bimmian & less expensive, go figure.

So have ordered these in lieu of that:

Nice, congrats.
For the bulbs, I want to see results, I have bad experience with these:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-...352894529.html

The missing middle part really takes away from the brightness of the bulb, it works by reflecting light from the reflector and then onto the mirror on the front of that bulb.

I still have been enjoying my expensive deAutoLED bulbs but I have not seen anything brighter yet but the AMBER bulbs you listed look good if they are error free, but wondering if it will be brighter.

Had no problem unscrewing and pulling the light housing out but I am having difficult time unplugging the wiring harness from the tail light itself. They seem to be locked with some sort of plastic locking mechanism... couldn't figure it out by myself...

Any tips?

I have a 2015 228i M Sport/Tracking & handling/Tech. Package.

Many thanks!

Just put the indicator bulbs in, front and back so far purchased from Aliexpress on the links I posted earlier. Gotta say they're blindingly bright!

Yeah same here - any results? The red ones you posted with the missing front were not bright when I installed them, so far deAutoLED still wins vs what I tested but if you say those are bright you cannot really compare vs mine so you just have to be happy with what you purchased since you won't know what is brighter, sorta like using bimmian and realizing deAutoLED is brighter when testing. You are most likely happy with the brightness level until you see others that are brighter.

Honestly, without side by side comparison and photos I don't trust anything aliexpress from word of mouth, I use to and I bought tons of LEDs people suggested from aliexpress and after install and then comparing I found there was much better options, but the reviews and side by side sold me on the deAutoLEDs:

These...

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-...343108088.html

I've now also installed the reverse lights too which are...

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-...022087061.html

These are also very bright and have made an incredible difference; like having headlights for the rear! I've no doubt that Deautokey's bulbs are also great, but they're also very expensive. For what I've paid I'm extremely happy and have had lots of comments on them and purchase suggestions / recommendations for other cars.
I'll try to get another video together today showing them all working.

PeteSoulDeep:

I have to ask what some of your options are as I have never heard of them:

1. Sun Protection Package
2. BMW Advanced Loudspeaker System
3. Mirror Package

Just curious, thanks!

Hi, the Sun Protection Package gives heavily tinted windows in the rear and sun shade band on the front windscreen. The BMW Advanced Loudspeaker System is a fraction of the cost of the Harmon-Kardon one with a slightly less powerful amp; sounds as good as the Bose system that was in my TT in my opinion.
The Mirror Package gives folding and auto-dimming mirrors and dimming rear view mirror.
BMW like to package everything into cheaper sets than specifying them separately in the UK!

PS: looks like I need additional coding to disable flicker

I coded out the flickering as it's the bulb check on the car that's doing it with them being so low powered. All LED bulbs no matter who supplied them will do it in the car until the coding is carried out.
Just follow the below link carefully to sort it; it's not as difficult as it first seems when you start reading.

Thanks! Did you code KALTUEBERWACHUNG, WARMUEBERWACHUNG and IS_LED for V_L and V_R, or all other values from that post (LCI_1, SML, etc)?

Yes, basically did them all as I changed all the bulbs. Indicators front and back, brake lights (all six) and reverse lights.

You'll notice as you code each section the flickering will stop if you just keep checking along the way.

deAuto LED Rear Turn Signal, Reverse, Brake Lights, & Front Turn

I just replaced ALL of my M235i incandescent bulbs with deAutoLED's full package replacement LED's. Front turn signials, Rear Turn Signal, Reverse, & Brake Lights. I was a little skeptical at first, at no strobing on start up, and no error codes thrown on all the replacements. But it is true, and I replaced everything in just an hour. This also included the bi-xenon headlights. I replaced the OEM 4300K color with a Philips DS1 6000K color.
Way to go deAutoLED!!!
