You can see in real time if your ship has left port and in transit (with last known GPS position) by using marinetraffic.com

MIGNON is currently moored in Port at Southampton England (as of 1 minute ago) enroute to Port Hueneme CA
ENDURANCE is south of Ireland - Westbound (as of 13 minutes ago) enroute to Baltimore MD

IMPORTANT COMPUTER TIMELINE / UPDATE NOTES:

Your car will likely take from 3-14 days after manufacture before it is loaded on a ship, average seems to be 7-10 days. WWL will eventually show the shipping status of your car. When it first appears, your car will have already been loaded and on it's way by about 24 hours. The BMW website and order status phone line will likely take more than 48-72 hours before it catches up. The WWL website data will then update with complete information. When your car arrives at the port of entry, it is then waiting on the ground shipper (trucking company). When it is picked up and dropped at your Dealership again depends on a few factors. The vehicle MUST be marked as a "Customer Sold" unit to put it ahead of Dealer inventory. I've seen cars arrive at Dealers from 2 days to 2 weeks (in very extreme cases). Average is about 5-7 days.

My car is on the Tosca - most recent position posting is on September 8, now 5 days ago. Is this 'normal' that the updates of position are not more frequent?

Normally, the ships are pinged for gps location frequently. It has been my experience you get updates that are no older than 10-15 minutes on marine traffic.com

My car is on the Eurasian Highway. It departed Southhampton on Friday the 11th of September and is expected arrive in Baltimore on the 21st of September and then go to Brunswick, GA on the 24th where it will be off-loaded for shipment to my dealer.

My 235 is on the Tosca too its due in new york on 09/17. Mines Alpine White/Coral Red with orbit grey wheels. Whats yours? Where in CT ? Im in Branford.

Tosca is in Port in New Jersey, your cars are here folks. I usually see the Ro Ro's pass right by my house in Brooklyn.

Mines alpine white with coral red and orbit grey rims as well and I am hoping I can pick it up at Tenafly BMW tomorrow! I believe mine is on the Tosca as well, dealer told me it would be at the port on the 17th so I'm assuming it is. Just hoping it doesn't take to many days to install the M performance parts at the port. Hopefully we all take delivery this weekend at the latest. Good luck boys, be sure to post pics....i know i will be hahaha.

Never got my VIN!!! Crazy I know smh, bugged my sales rep a billion times for it but since he never answers my calls it was near impossible to get it. Its been like pulling teeth trying to get my VIN from him.

Probably could get it from BMW customer service if you have your order #. When you do get it go here and type last 7 in "Cargo ID"

The WWL link only works if your vehicle is on a WWL ship. But BMW uses several other carriers as well and if your car is on one of those, it won't show on the WWL site.

Usually takes about 7-10 days before being loaded for departure.
