Yes I have CR leather. Not sun protection though. I normally get it retro fitted.

No that's how it came. Interesting you say that and I was thinking of not bothering as they appear fairly dark already.

From that picture they look great, so you may not need to tint them. I think I'm set on white, but I'm thinking that coral red with the blue calipers may be a bit much, but your car looks immense!
I have seen white with black leather, which looks really good to, but I wonder if the black interior will bore me after a while. I've never done a brash colour combo before, so a little intimidated by it. What have people thought of your car? The combo is very marmite but I love it. |

This is my third white BMW with red leather. I've had an M3 with Fox red and two white cars with Coral. The photos always make it look brighter that in real life.I would definitely try and see one in the leather. Everyone who's sees it compliments the conbo.

I'm ordering a new set of Black Kidney Grills myself and took a quick look under the bonnet and see four Torx bolts that look to be what gets removed to create the gap for reaching inside to undo the clips. Can you confirmed this how you did your uninstall of the stock grills?

Ok
I thought fitting the grills was going to be similar to the E92's I've done in the past. I was wrong I started by removing the rubber weather strip from the back edge of the front top of the bumper. This exposed 6 x torque screws, which I removed. The problem is this only allows about 2" of movement and although you can just slide a screw driver in behind, you are pretty much working blind. I also notice some pretty snug rubber ducting that surrounded the bumper which channelled air to the radiator. This looked like something I didn't want to disturb. So I cut the black upright bars of one grill. This allowed easy access behind. where I used a flat edge of a trim tool to pop the clips. I have no intention of refitting the chrome grill. So wasn't bothered that I lost one. The grills were £84.00 this was with -10% discount from my dealer. Part numbers B51.71.2.336.815 B51.71.2.336.816

Worth noting. If you do decid the cut them out. You don't need to undo the 6 x torqx screws

I cannot remember where I saw the writeup / video but I did see someone release the clips with an actual tool, looked like a long screwdriver but had a hook on one end. I can try and dig it up if helpful for anyone.
