why am i getting such shitty milage. I do have a heavy foot but really?

First tank? I got 18 MPG on my first one been averaging around 23 since, except for one tank where it was all highway (got almost 26 on that one). I have a 6 speed manual.

Is this every trip or overall? reset the calculated readout and have it start over and see if it is better.

Are you calculating yourself or reading off the iDrive? My iDrive says 19.2 mpg but over two tank fills, I have gotten over 25 mpg each for a mixture of highway and city driving mostly on eco mode (only occasional Sport/Sport+ as I am still well below break in period)
