235 Xdrive aftermarket auxiliary heater

I would like to have Eber(or Webasto) fuel operating auxiliary heater for my car coming in january. When I ordered it the dealer wrote to me that heater fits in engine room, can be connected in the fan and it does not effect in Bmw warranty.
Now the Eber importer says that the part I need to connect fan does not exist. He said that they are trying to get the fan work in the factory, but he had no idea when they can sell the part

Have you had this kind of problems?
Have you any idea if that part is possible to get from somewhere?

I really would like to get the heater immediately when I get the car because it might be could here after 2 weeks. Fortunately it quite warm still here..

Why do you need this? I wouldn't install aftermarket parts on a brand new car, personally...

Bmw is offering a heater that does not heat engine at all, only cabin.
When itīs -30 degrees celsius and you strat engine it sounds pretty bad. And if you are going to drive 10 years same car, I think the engine will be happier without could starts.
And if I can choose I will jump to warm car witch starts like under palm

Instead of "reheat" I'd go by

- 30 Degree Celsius

Honestly most of us in the USA only get engine block heaters for Diesels, it's not really heard of to get them for gas engines. Since most of us are from North America, I highly doubt we're of any help. Sorry

If they make one for the F30 3 series, it should fit your 2 series

I just thought that if there was some one from Canada. Your winter is different yes. But 2 weeks ago a guy from New York came here and he said there was same temperature that here, about +3-4 degrees celsius. Now itīs +1, but it might well be -15.
Itīs common here to use aftermarket heaters and those normally work fine. Iīm pretty sure that I find the way to get it work. Maybe the F30 models system woks..
Thank you for help
