I just realized. He's not in the US. The M badge delete is an option in ROW markets.

Yes your car is not a US spec model. In your country the M badge delete is an option and the side mirrors folding can be set with some basic coding knowledge.

Auto folding mirrors is part of the premium package, not standard on any model.

Well, I have folding mirrors, but you still have to get them coded to make them fold automatically, I believe.

Guess it depends on what OP meant. Auto as in - I push a button and they automatically fold, as opposed to getting out of my car and manually folding mirrors. Or auto as in - I push comfort access lock on my door handle and it auto folds the mirrors.

Since the latter kind of "auto" folding doesn't come standard on any BMW that I'm aware of, I'll assume that the topic was regarding the topic of the thread, i.e. changes between 14 and 15, and the only auto folding available was that of the push button type available on the premium package... which is still available on 15.

That is true. However in the first brochure that came out for 2015 models the power folding mirrors showed up as standard on all models. I complained with BMW customer relations. They admitted it was an error on their side and will send me a $150 check through my dealer.

A consolidated list of 2015 m235i changes I've seen around the internet:
  • Removal of the M badges from the front fenders "(3DZ) Without Lines designation outside" is noted on new build orders destined for the US. (CONFIRMED by Gregharp)
  • Ambience lighting (ground-illuminating lights in door handles, separately controlled left/right front and rear reading lights, front footwell lighting, and illuminated vanity mirrors), which was part of the 2014 premium package, is now standard for the m235i. (UNCONFIRMED, source = bmwusa.com build guide)
  • The memory button for the electric seat settings is now marked with “SET” instead of “M.” (CONFIRMED)
  • Servotronic power steering can now be configured using the Dynamic Driving Control toggle switch on the center console, separately from the existing chassis and drivetrain settings. (DISPUTED by Gregharp. original source = press release)
  • When equipped with optional navigation and in combination with automatic transmission, predictive gearshift strategy (shift recommendation indicator) is displayed using navigation data when the transmission is being driven in the manual mode. (UNCONFIRMED, source = press release)
  • The standard-equipment new generation Radio BMW Professional is now equipped with 3G functionality. (UNCONFIRMED, source = press release)
  • All models equipped with optional heated steering wheel (option 248): An activation symbol now appears in the instrument cluster. This feature allows the driver to immediately notice if the heating is active, without having to look to the activation switch on the left side of the steering column. (UNCONFIRMED, source = press release)
  • Radio on/off/volume control knob now has imprinted “ON/OFF” (does not pertain to M3 and M4). (CONFIRMED)
  • Music streaming via Bluetooth is now standard - see scottomfg's post here for details and BMW PDF describing changes: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...7#post16289727 (CONFIRMED)

3. Drivetrain / Suspension can set how you like in Sport mode[/QUOTE]

ok, there is 2 different position for suspension.

The options are simple. Unlike a true M car, you don't get an array of options to choose. It's either Sport drivetrain + Sport suspension, Sport drivetrain + Comfort suspension, or Comfort drivetrain + Sport suspension.

So really just that... comfort or sport for the drivetrain, same for suspension.

I am now more interested in my M235i because my signed build/purchase order does not have "3DZ" listed. I guess I will find out next month.

Do you have the VIN yet?

Throw it in here and see what you get, it lists way more little things than just what the dealership can give you I believe.

That would be nice, its annoying to try to look over at that button. I didn't even know where the button was for a month when I got the car since it was the summer, I figured they just came on with the heated seats like they do in Audis until my friend noticed it looking through the window one day.

Not just for the 2 series but all BMWs.... For 2015 BMWs sold after July 1, 2014, the factory maintenance coverage plan for 4yr/50k is good only for the original owner and doesn't transfer to any subsequent owners unless it's a family member. Maintenance plans on 2014 and older BMWs are tranferrable to subsequent owners, link:
