Hey, what's the deal with BMWs not having a front plate holder ? I'm not going to drive my car without a front plate, so I guess I need to buy one of those too ?

The front plate holder is drilled into the bumper unless you tell them not to. I got the PedalHaus holder from EAS. The others I looked at were from US Mill Works and Rho plate. All seem quite similar but not all will work with the parking sensors (which I didn't get), so check on that.

Thanks. Nah, I wouldn't trust myself with stickers. CA recommended an auto body shop for the stickers. Supposedly, they're specially trained in BMW work.

No window tinting planned. I've never tinted any of my cars. I like to see the world outside in true color

That's cool. Originally I was planning on putting on the side sill decal myself but got nervous the more I thought about it lol

First thing I'm doing after getting the car tomorrow is having a shop install xpel on the front fascia. The weekend following I'll have them do the decal, grill swap, and roof wrap.

It's too cold outside for me to do work anyways

Nice ! Good call on not doing the sticker yourself. If you did it with a friend, it might make more sense, but better to get it done pro regardless.

How much are they charging for the XPel ? Just curious.

Also, how much for the roof wrap ? Matte Black ? Can they wrap around a moonroof or do you have the delete ?

$525 for the XPEL, which is the whole front including headlights

$225 for 3M gloss black on the roof. Wrapping around moonroof is not an issue. You can look up this procedure on YouTube, quite simple. I'd say removing the shark fin is more work than the moonroof. They wanted to charge me extra to include the side rails so I chose to forgo that.

I threw in another $100 for them to install the decal and grill swap.

I was pretty bummed at first but I guess it all worked out. Gives me some extra time to prepare. Plus it would have been crusted in salt the moment I stepped off the lot. Now...it's a clean sunny week

To be honest, they look even better on yours than they will on mine, because of the extreme contrast between black and white. Nonetheless, I look fwd to installing them on mine.

If the question was for me, yes, all my mods are OEM except for the Carbon Fiber mirror covers.

The rear spoiler cost me $465. And the front splitter is the same amount.

Side decals and stripes: $130 each.

Mirror covers: Around $150 I think. (eBay)

Floor mats: $94 (Amazon)

Pedal covers: $125 (Amazon)

Kidney grilles $150 (Amazon)
