Must haves on my 228 were:

1. Msport package
2. Light package. It's much more than just zenons. It's adaptive lighting , the beams follow the curve of the road. A big safety feature
3. Manual trans. My brain tells me the auto is a better trans, my heart thinks otherwise.
4. HK sound, sorta regret that one, wish I'd gotten the active suspension instead , oh well

But why would you? I bought BMW despite the options, and avoided most of them.

Unfortunately for my bank account I'm planning to pretty much pick up all the options

But the options I refuse to buy a car without nowadays are

Xenons
Comfort access
Leather
Sport suspension if it's a sporty car
Bluetooth audio integration
Navi (I don't really care about the navi itself but most manufacturers package their bigger screen and better infotainment system with the navi)
