For those asking pricing for opti coat...i heard the pro version can run few hundred dollars

For 2.0, you can get it the supply for around $70 so add labor to that...around $150-$250 done at a shop

From a local dealer:

Quote:
Opti-Coat is a permanent layer of a polymer coating designed to protect your vehicles paint over its lifetime. It has better scratch and mar resistance, better UV resistance, better chemical etch resistance than other coatings available on the market. It does not degrade or wear off over time like waxes or sealant which means once it is applied the only maintenance needed is a basic car wash.

Once Opti-Coat cures, it measures 2 microns, which is about 100 times thicker than most waxes and sealants. This increases the scratch and mar resistance of the paint. Opti-Coat effectively becomes a second clear coat.

Opti-Coat Benefits

Permanent. No need to reapply or apply other waxes or sealants
Low maintenance
Increased scratch and mar resistance

Did you do it yourself, or have a shop do it? If shop, which one - i like the sound of this stuff...

See you around town - haven't seen another M235 on the road yet...

How you go about removing the -M- badges on the side of the M235i? Is it an easy task to do and ones you remove them what is the next step if any?
