Well from this video the M2 was very even to the M240i. This video really shows how good the M240i is. I thought this video would have shown how great the M2 was. They need to use that B58 engine in the LCI and add more horses because right now it's very close. They are basically even when it comes to straight line performance. The M2 sounds much better thought, and the shifts are more violent but that's what probably makes it seem like it's much faster than it really is.

I'm sure the lap times will be different on a track, but I doubt it would be a very big difference. So basically the M2's cost for what you get in this baby M is amazing. But the cost of the M240i stock is an even better bargain. That's what I think the video is saying for those that were too bored to watch the whole thing.

The downside of the modern digital world is that every one has a voice... I want my 10 minutes back...

I tuned my GF's M235ix convertible and installed a sprintbooster as well. I actually enjoy driving it as much as my tuned M3. Almost feels quicker at lower RPMs for some reason.

Joe Achillies - Great Video

I think the video's by Joe Ach are just so honest and pure. His perspective is not just from a guy who is test driving an M2 but has a Lotus in his garage. This guy is a true fan and lives and breathes the M135i/M140i/M2.
.
He is not so caught up with the numbers but simply enjoys the soul and character of the 1 / 2 Series.
.
I really think an M140i auto is in his future.
.
GREAT JOB JOE !!

I saw that mirror too! Took a screen shot! Was only the drivers side.... Mirror on the passenger was standard. Didn't really see the whole car with the mirror though ....

M2= Extrovert, harder, louder, sharper, fast, well balanced
M240= Introvert , softer, quieter, not as sharp (but probably sharp enough for 90%?), fast-er?, pretty well balanced.

Mine will be M240 lowered, 19's (8.5f x 9.5r) gunmetal, Mineral Gray carbon Fiber front splitter, blacked out grills. Total stealth that can transform into a beast when needed.
I have to admit I would like the M taken off of it though- Ill take the M logos off the side for sure. Only a true M should be an M- this one is awesomely capable and is "M-Lite" but stop it BMW. Oh and I will get the ALcantara steering wheel- My hands stick to the BM
W leather- any yall have that problem?

Enlarge the compressor side of N55 to allow 5%-10% flow is enough.

You don't want a short stroked and high rev engine to handle twin turbo or a single bigger turbo. S55 is laggy let me put it straight.

Why 43 minutes? No need to be this long...

Less is more.

Love both cars by the way.

There's an earlier video this guy did where it shows him getting aftermarket covers for the mirrors. European spec cars get the same mirrors as we do.

I got a different message. The M2 may not be equivalently faster, but it's the more engaging, visceral package.
