Well I have been in status 150 Production Started for the past 5 days with no movement to status 151 Body Shop Started

Is this normal? From people who followed this process closely, Can you advise how long this part of the process historically runs:

150 Production Started
151 Body Shop Started
152 Paint Shop Started
153 Assembly Started
155 Production Completed
160 Released to Distribution

Either 150-155 or 150-160 would be helpful

not good really. its been pushed out.

its been in status 150 for 7 days now and has not actually started production yet. I just called for the first time today and he said that it wont be completed by tomorrow which was the estimated time of completion. he said call back next week to see if body shop started yet. he was not able to explain a delay or why his system is still showing tomorrow as the completed date when its not yet started the process of being built.

at this point, you may get your 2015 before I get my 2014.

I don't know if I would totally rely on the phone status updates. Personally, I think it's possible you could jump from 150 directly to 155. When I toured the factory, all the chassis went one direction for assembly while body parts went another for painting. So how they could code a car for different stages of production happening simultaneously would seem unlikely. Anyway, that's a guess (and hope). I'd put my money on you having started production and if the end date of production is still showing today or tomorrow your good. Being at status 150 indicates production has started. So how he could say you have not started production seems contrary.

I called the automated number every day while in production and the message never changed...always something like "car in production with estimated completion of 6/26". On 6/26, it changed to "vehicle being assembled". Today it's "released to something". My CA also sent me a screenshot of their tool a few days ago and it was still showing 150. In other words, at least for me, it looks like I went from 150 to 155 directly and right on schedule with the original estimate

The phone system is several days behind. If the phone system is telling you today that is was released to (probably distribution), odds are that happened several days ago.

i was on hold for about 7 mins - he said there was a recall today, on a major model so the lines were flooded. wonder what thats about.

Reply, called today and my production was supposed to be done today and it actually is completed!....now its awaiting to be picked up to ship. Soghetto I think you and I will be on the same boat. Mine is going to go to Baltimore first before it comes to my Midwest dealership.
