What's annoying is that I live in San Diego, which is the first port of call on the West Coast, but I'm pretty sure I'll still have to wait the extra day for it to sail up to Port Hueneme. Just for the record, I'm scheduled to take delivery tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, so it looks like it wasn't quite as good as I hoped, but not quite as bad as you thought. In any case, it was good not to have my hopes up too much.

Our X3 was European Delivery back in 9/2007. I'm still trying to figure out where my A3 got lost As of now it looks as if it did not make the cutoff for Garnet Leader, even though the tracking information initially said that it had been loaded on 6/21. According to Audi Palo Alto it is now due on 8/4, which would mean it ended up on Vega Leader. Well, I still have a car ....

I was told that ED cars also go through manual inspections from Dept of Agriculture, which are not required on Non-ED cars. I think that is causing the delay.

Hope you ED guys get your cars soon! Probably the last shipment of 2014s arrived at Port Hueneme this morning on Carmen and 2015s are already arriving on Metis Leader by next Thursday!

Ahh, I guess there are a handful more '14s arriving mixed in with the '15s. The OP in the METIS thread mentioned a 2015 M235i on board and the first few posts I skimmed didn't mention MY in their posts. Revisiting the thread, seems like ehagerty's '14 is one of the last that will arrive... even after the '15s!

Yes!! Checked the owner's site this morning and it was still in transit. Figured there might be a delay so I called the 1-800 number and was told the car was unloaded yesterday. It confused me since the ship set sail to Japan last week. I logged back in to owners' circle and it shows "finishing touches!!" Almost there!

I emailed my CA to see if he has an updated status considering the site is a few days behind. This is just in case the car gets to the dealer this weekend. Anyhow, he said according to the info that he has, the boat arrived on July 24th which is puzzling as BMWUSA.com shows "finishing touches." Not really sure what's going on. Lol

Did you log into BMWUSA.com? The 1-800-831-1117 number says mine is in transit. However, both bmwusa.com and a call to BMW Special Sales (1-800-932-0831) said that mine is at VDC right now (finishing touches). Barring damages, it should be released to carrier soon. I'm thinking I should have it by Friday or so. You're in Socal too so it should be quicker.

Once I added my loan account/VIN, I can no longer track the car on bmwusa.com. I guess I will give Special Sales a call tomorrow. Thanks for the number!
