Hi guys

Can't remember how many times I have been reading post after post on many beautiful F22 in 2addicts.

I have been always a fan of the BMWs when I was a little kid and got exited seeing all these fancy machines in Hong Kong, but obviously it is not realistic to get a bmw as a first car. Therefore I went with my second favorite of all time the GTI, but then I also realize a GTI is not something I could afford being a year 4 student in the university (3 years ago) and that's how I landed on a Mk7 golf. I enjoyed the car and learn a lot on car, from basic maintenance to performance and cosmetic upgrade.



But the addiction of playing around with cars start kicking in....
I am starting to want more...more power...more style....
And Girlfriend getting a brand new Mini Cooper S does not help either.
I still remember the day we went to order her Mini, the sales person invited me on a test drive on one of their M235i.
That is probably the worst thing I can do in my life haha, fell in love with the car right after the drive and the launch control.
The F22 become my favorite realistic car to own in my age, but it has always been a dream to work hard.

As a person who work in the car business up North in Edmonton Alberta Canada, I had a opportunity to work in a bmw dealership a few months ago so I decided to quit my previous comfort zone (a VW dealership) and start a new adventure in the BMW world.

After working here for 4 months, I am lucky to have some very supporting customers/friends and would consider myself to be adopting this new bmw/luxury life pretty well. I decided to order the new F22 coming in 2017 model the M235i with B58 engine ===> M240i. Among all the factory colors, Estoril blue is my favorite and it the red interior seems to make sense to me for a sport coupe.
I took every option possible on this vehicle, as my plan is to own this car at least 5 years and do not want to have any regret. I guess custom order it is, with around 3 months of waiting.

At the meanwhile, I started to order car parts for the 240i, from painted m-performance splitter and diffuser to HRE ff15 summer wheels.

It was a longgggg wait, but it worth every single minute.







I have my experienced service tech to help me putting all the parts on to the car so I can start enjoying it asap.









I happen to know a friend who work in a detail shop, so he hooked me up with new car paint correction, Xpel, tinted window & tail light and Nano coating.







After a few days of waiting, I picked up the car last night from the shop and can actually start enjoying the car without worrying getting rock chips.

Your diffuser looks great—this is what I'm hoping to do. Can you post a few more pics from a bit lower to really show the diffuser with the car?

Looks awesome, congrats. Very similar to the one I'm waiting for. Mine will be an xdrive with black leather (blue stitching). Pretty much the same add-on parts except I'm skipping the side sill decals.

How is it in the snow?

I glanced at these photos initially without reading the post/looking at the OP's profile, and my immediate thought was "well damn, if those aren't taken in Edmonton, I dunno where else it could possibly be"

I enjoyed driving around with WS80 on.
Although the weather has been not bad at all these few days.

Like WolfGTI, I used to live in Calgary. Months of Subaru Fun Time where everyday was potentially a Rally Day.

I don't mean to piggy back this thread but does anyone know or went through an ordering process on this m240i? I am in NY. Ordered a 2017 Estoril Blue convertible RWD 6MT. Dealer had allocation and order went through Wednesday last week. since it's east coast maybe it will come sooner? I'm hoping for 6 weeks or less. I heard it could be 8-12 on this forum!

where did you het the M projectors for the doors? FOund a few online but they dont fit the 2 series
