Indeed, I think with so many new model releases it seems to avoid confusion the 2 series must be red, M3 blue and the M4 yellow, really want to see some variety now!

Those silver mirrors don't look right on the red M235, black might look better if they just felt like painting them something different.

True, but I would think the back end should be more easily "fixed" than the front

What is the deal on performance parts??! I want several parts and want to factor them into my lease, which I hope will go into effect in March.

E82 front is unique, I will give you that. But looks nothing like a classic BMW, I mean nothing. |

this car is so damn nice, don't know what else to say.
4er better keep a good distance from this baby, otherwise the poor 4er will look fat, clumsy and totally oversized in comparison. |

Looked really good on CNBC this morning. Very surprising that the video seemed so different than the stills here.
I'm just hoping that all I've heard per the steering still being quite poor is off base.

The 1-series chassis size (compact sports coupe) and layout (front-engine, rear-drive) is being re-designated as the 2-series. BMW has plans to introduce a new 1-series with a completely new design, and in all probability, a FWD layout derived from what they've learned building the Mini, if not some derivative of the Mini modular chassis. The new car will not be a direct replacement for the old 1-series.
