Got it. I can see the partially wrapped cars in the lot next to the workshop on Google Maps

PCD (first time delivery) get their new car delivery inside the large building. There are three delivery bays that drive out to the front. Re-delivery (ED to PCD) get their cars redelivered outside the building marked on the map as delivery parking areas.

Grrrrr!

Well, the OH should be mooring itself at Brunswick right about now ... but:

- There's one vehicle carrier and a bulk carrier there already
- There are two bulk carriers anchored offshore, evidently waiting their turn
- The OH is now steaming out to sea at 2-ish knots

Brunswick appears to have two docks set up for vehicle transfers and one for bulk transfers. But as best I can tell, the eastern vehicle dock hasn't been used for several days and may be offline.

Grrrrr ... may be a bit of a wait for us non-PCDers ...

She's moving through now. I believe I found a webcam on the Ocean Highway bridge on the side opposite where the blue diamond shows on your map. I don't think I'll be at my desk when she rolls by, though. You can even take control and aim the camera for a short time. The ship is coming from the left side and you can zoom. http://ga.water.usgs.gov/rivercam/webcam-brunswick.html

I also found a cam for Charleston. I saw an ARC ship moving backwards so I thought the camera was messed up, then I realized on the map, two tugs were pushing the Independence 2 into a berth. The camera shoots right over the BMW facility. http://www.abcnews4.com/category/253...ton-harbor-cam

Great! Hopefully have my car in about a week. Depends how quickly they get the MPE, diffuser, and grills installed at the port.

It looks like the Oregon Highway docked at about 0411 in Charleston, so us PCDers should be unloaded and officially on US soil by now. Now the second long wait begins!

Someone in Charleston reaimed the webcam at the Yorktown, so there was no shot of our boat.

I'm a map geek, so here's a summary of the Oregon Highway's journey with our cars:
1) Bremerhaven departure 2/15
2) Southampton 2/16-2/17
3) Zeebrugge 2/17-2/18 (change in schedule)
Transatlantic crossing with some southward diversion off the typical path
4) Baltimore 3/1-3/2 (mid-atlantic offload)
5) Brunswick 3/4-3/5 (southern offload)
6) Charleston 3/6 (PCD offload and BMW USA export loading)

Mine's April 7 (AKA 1,000 years from now). The other guys are all in that first week or so of April as well. I guess there's a bit of a Spring backup. March is gonna suck.

Mine will be at the dealer on March 10th- probably pick up the 12th or 13th. Can't wait! Gotta get the tint done and ready to go. I have several trips for business around Florida that I will use for break in.

aka 1000 years from now.

I was in the same boat as you, literally... My PCD date is Apr 10.

I'm just hoping the snow here will be melted by then, so the crews can sweep the salty snow-melting chemicals off the road and my baby can make it home without being a mess.

At least on the southern end, it should be a beautiful time of year for the drive back up. I hope you have some time to spare.

An interesting aside regarding the trucking service, Waggoner, used from Brunswick, at least, to deliver cars from port to dealer:

Background: A friend of mine in the DFW area ordered a 228i M Sport nearly identical to mine at nearly the same time, but from two different area dealerships, and both cars were on the Oregon Highway. Only real difference that affected transport time: I had one port-installed option (black kidney grilles; a 10-15-minute install at port), he had none. Both our cars were scanned into vpc at Brunswick at midnight after arrival day (March 4). My kidney grilles were installed the following morning.

His dealer's scheduled to get his car on Wednesday, March 11.

Mine? Saturday, March 14.

Waggoner typically delivers 1-2 days early, so I'm hopeful. But there are two takeaways here:
1). Our cars are sitting at port for several days
2). Port-installed options -- even really easy and quick ones -- delay delivery by 1-3 days.

That'll be the longest 3 days of your life after your friend's car comes in. It'll make for a kick-ass birthday, though.

I get mine a month from today.

How long for the website to change to "finishing touches"? And the automated phone message has reverted to "your vehicle is in port and awaiting a shipping vessel". Is my car being deported?
