m235i: what you would change

Not much to complain about the m235i after my first two weeks in it. But some things I don't like.

1. Rear view mirror isn't wide enough. But looking over the right shoulder has good visibility. Make it bigger.
2. I'm still trying to adjust to the side view mirrors. View to me looks strange judging where car are.
3. Allow each iDrive screen to have 8 presets....not 8 total.
4. Allow removing of radio stations I don't listen to! And add a radio scan feature to add all scanned channels to re-populate the radio list when traveling.
5 I have no idea when I move the steering wheels scroll what channel names are to the station numbers.....add station numbers and get rid of station names or provide a setting!
5. BMW's drink oil at around 80K mi. In the oil level screen to tell us how much oil to add. What about adding back the oil dip stick???

Move the inside door handles aft 8 or 10 inches. The handles are so far forward, there's little leverage.

Also, I'd like to see a little bit of a buldge in the center section of the hood.

Sport steering without sport dampers.

And a slightly louder exhaust, stock. My 335is did it well. Miss that exhaust.

A little more rear fender flare to allow for lower offset wheels.

Large iDrive screen as standard.

Move audio controls back to the left side of the steering wheel. WTF decided to move them to the right side for US cars?

I mean...it would be nice if they could just lose 500lbs and give it 180 more hp.

I was thinking about why this is a problem... manual transmission, right? I don't have this problem with an auto. Wonder if it was an oversight, cost cutting or what.

Sure, I would like to pay less. But I think the car is reasonably priced compared to the German competition. M3/M4 is $10K overpriced IMO. I don't think those cars are $25-30K better than m235.

Blind spot detection - just a split mirror will do as all European cars have it.

Weird door open lever - no leverage (already mentioned)

Free OTA navigation updates (will get as of MY 2016 I suppose as F23 has it)

Standard Xenon - Optional LED

Upgraded Premium sound system

Donut spare tire

Get rid of the absurd "2 pulls" to open the door.

Get rid of the absurd "2 pushes" to turn the car off.

Oil and coolant temps.
