Pick-up this weekend or Wait till July 1-3

Hello All

Anxiously waiting the arrival of my 235 after a few months of (not-so)patiently waiting. It is currently en route on a truck from GA to FL, schedule to arrive at my dealer this Saturday June 27.

My question to you: Should I go and pick it up right away like I want to? Or wait until July incentives come out on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd to see if there is a better MF/residual/incentive? The only incentive I have is the UDE so would any others even be combinable?

My CA claims nothing will be better in July but I'm not sure how he would know that - I kind of get the feeling he is just trying to get the car to count towards his end of June numbers. He has been very good to me so far, being a first time BMW customer and offering me 8% off MSRP and free M black kidney grilles but I'm just not sure.

So, 2addicts....What should I do?

8% off, free grilles, and UDE? You won't get any better although lease rates could change if you're going that route.

8 % is pretty good. I got 9.1% off, but I think read on here where someone got 10% off.

UDE should be combinable with other incentives, just not "event based" incentives(like Team USA event)

is the 8% off with the UDE?

yes it is.

Basically comes down to do I want to wait an extra week to see if I can get a better deal since I waited this long already, or do I want to take delivery of the car this weekend since I've waited long enough. Just seeing what you guys think.

well, you can look at this webpage to see the history of the 2-series lease rates.

Me either but I was thinking maybe one upcoming for 2015 235s since the 2016s are coming out and there is the M2 hype? Not sure.

I would go for it. I don't think your monthly payments will be affected much if any.

you can give it a try, wait until July. But I haven't seen any incentives since maybe december 2014($500 but worse lease residual) and sept 2014 ($500 credit)

I got lucky. I special ordered my car and it arrived at the dealership on 12/31. They wanted to close the deal that day to make end of year numbers. They took an extra $1000 off. I ended up paying invoice (or at least what they call invoice).

Instead of waiting until the first, you might want to wait until 6/30 and see how badly they want to make their monthly numbers. They might take a little bit off.

YMMV. Good luck.

yeah, I also had a sales guy who wanted badly to have me take delivery at end of the month since he would get a $1,000 bonus for hitting a certain number of sales

Per Edmunds data, BMWFS does not appear to have adjusted their lease MF and residual a whole lot for the 2 series.

I would collect your keys, drive, and enjoy
