I'm planning to add a few stickers to help get me there.
Ha. Go-faster stripes, maybe?

Good luck,OP, I genuinely admire your sense of humour.

thanks! honestly if I knew I would catch this much flack for the plates, I would have skipped out on it. I was trying to use something different than "new m235i owner" in hindsight that would have probably been better

On a positive note, I dont think many people will be able to decipher what it means. I'm finding out that it isn't the most popular choice here lol

Most folks will be left saying, license plate said what? Had you not clued me in at first glance I saw paint/pant dripper/dropper perhaps panty dropper would have came. I would get a chuckle regardless. PNTDRPR

Beautiful car, enjoy making it yours.

If i had 30 seconds at stoplight behind you i'm thinking; Paint draper, pint dropper, pointed raper, without the "Y" I miss panty dropper. Which is good, because the second you say panty dropper you instantly ensure that neither you, nor your car are dropping any panties.

Joking aside, heed the advice. Don't do that as a personal plate.

Congrats on the car though

As long as you enjoy it, thats all that matters. Personally, I find such a license plate to be a bit childish and like G-mann said, its actually not that easy to figure that out anyway. Im looking forward to seeing more pics of your car as it gets more mods. You could always get another plate if you get tired of it or enough people suggest that its a bad choice, hahaha.

Thanks! I'm excited to try and add some mods, been eyeing the cf diffuser from dinmann. Its the most aggressive one I've come across thus far. I wish I could change the title of the thread

I just bought the M Performance Diffuser 15 minutes ago to go along with the front spoiler. Had been looking at those carbon fiber diffusers but not a big fan of the look of CF. Which is the Dinmann one?

You can change the title of the thread by pressing edit then going into advanced.

Thanks! Just changed it. Im considering that one as well. I hope you went to ebay and got it from sunmoters for $360 shipped.

Here is a pic of the Dinmann I'm interested in.

That does look pretty aggressive...but $1200? Guess you gotta pay to play.
Yea I bought the diffuser and front lip from Sun Motor. By far the best price around that I could find.

Sun Moters has really good pricing compared to the other dealers. I'm waiting on a response from a guy who states he is friends with the owner of Dinmann and can get a better deal. If its reasonable, I may jump on it. My other option was the MP Diffuser. If you've looked on IND website. I planned to paint it like option A - here is the link. its over $600 shipped from them. Just buy it from SM and have a shop paint it for around $100-$200

I Picked up my new 2016 Alpine White M235ix on 03/22/2016. Luckily it was only a week out so was a relatively a short wait and thought I'd start a thread to introduce her and myself and to start a build thread.

I have a lot planned as far as mods go and will take time to get there. So far I've tinted the windows. ( 17% around back and 43% front ) Picked up some M Pedals ( not installed yet ) Came with the black kidney grilles. Yesterday I added the gloss black M235i badge. Ordered from Ryan@IND - Looks a lot better than stock on a white car imo. A few pics of her so far and with additional mods will add more down the road. Love this forum and the useful info found in all sections of the forums.

Nice job on the mods. My son is getting an M235xDrive Alpine White on Corel Red with MPE. I know he's getting the black grilles and black VMR's 710 (on order). I'll have the dealer install the M pedals. I'm having the a full hood, bumper and fenders wrapped. Still debating what % tint to do.

Car was built last week (03/29/2016). How long did yours take from the time you got your production number?

I really like this one. It's one of the few that look like it might be a true diffuser not a 'inspired' style mod.

Thanks! I should add in my list, I was able to get the dealer to throw in a full clear bra on the front fenders, hood and bumper and mirrors. I wanted Coral red as well as the MPE. Instead of ordering, I settled for a Alpine white that was a week away with black dakota leather. I have the MPE on my list of future mods. The alpine / coral combo is very nice, the best combo in my biased opinion. So I cant tell you how long it will take. He will be pleased I know that much

If it wasnt so pricey, I would have ordered it already! Cant really find anything else as aggressive as this one. I wonder if they would do one in matte black, lessening the blow to the wallet.

Do you know what brand they used for the clear bra?

I think its XPEL, but I'm not entirely sure. Its done on sight at the dealership. They do tinting and paint protection. It was done at BMW of Murray in Salt Lake City, Utah. They did a fairly good job. Entire front is covered. I thought the cutting could have been better.

Thanks. I have two options available to us which is the Xpel Ultimate and the 3M Pro. The installer's preference is the 3M, feels that its clarity is superior. However, the Xpel is 10 years warranty versus 7 years on the 3M.
