Thanks for the add here. Looking at your past cars I see a trend of Mustangs and Nissan Z cars. How does the M235 compare?

The M235i is the best all rounder no question and that's what I needed at this stage of my life. It's also my first turbocharged car which I really like. The BMW keeps amazing me at how it can completely change character from tame commuter to rapid sports car at the flick of a switch, great car and I don't regret it for a moment(also considered Golf R and S3). As for the others, the 370Z especially Nismo models are great lookers I just didn't love the engine. That Boss 302 though...different story.

sorry for the delay. Got it. I drove what I call "butt rocker" cars for years early on. 1984 Z28 H.O., 1985 Trans Am HO, 1996 Z28 6 speed. So I move to the big city from the suburbs and the Z28 just was not cutting it. Went to an E36 M3, then E46 M3, now the M235i. First non NA car for me to. But yea, considered a 2015 Mustang GT and then waiting for the 2016 Camaro SS. Was not sure if I could "go back in time" to the pony car.

I also drove a 6MT Chevy SS believe it or not (Aussie Holden). That LS3 motor was great but ultimately the car was bigger than I need. Still have a 1972 Nova. Lol

Yep, there's nothing like a big american V8! 2015 Mustang looks really nice, but for me I'd want the Shelby if I was going that route and as much as I commute it just doesn't make sense. Maybe someday if I'm in a position to have 2 cars again I can have one as a toy.
