Coilovers >>>> springs and EDC. Check out Feal for reasonably priced good quality coilovers, multiple packages available depending what you’re looking for. I’m running them on my M235i with the Swift spring upgrade.

On my 240ix, I’m running MCS 2WR dampers with F/R 500/800 lbf/in spring rates (same setup on my f82 except 800/1100 spring rates. Apex EC7RS 18x8et45 and 18x9.5et58. Stock blue calipers with Carbotech 1521 street pads and xp12 track pads.

Ohlins is hard to beat for a dual-purpose setup. If you need more camber, add Vorshlag camber plates for a perfect match. For the next stage, you should consider some monoball for the thrust arms and upgrade to adjustable rear toe links.

KW, Bilstein, and MCS are some really good options as well. How crazy do you wan to get?

Don't forget brake upgrades for track duty.

HMU if you need quotes on upgrades.

Hey Harold!

Does Ohlins offer their dedicated track setup for the F22? What spring rates does the standard kit come with? Track kit, if offered? Does this kit work on the 240i and 240ix or just the 240i?

The dedicated tracks kits are only for E46, E9x 3/Spec Series, E46 M, and E9x M.

There is a R&T for the F2x/3x AWD and RWD(same kit). The photos above were taken from an M240i x-drive.

Don’t they offer the dedicated track kit for the F8x and F87?

No, not a dedicated track kit(Road and track damper based). However, there is a TTX Pro based advanced track day kit.

You can’t go wrong with a set of TTX dampers!

I was getting the 3DM custom R&T road setup mixed up with the e92 M3 dedicated track setup. Thanks.

There is an E9x M TTX Pro advanced track day kit as well from Ohlins.

The other option is the PSi Raceline kits use TTX46 and 36 dampers for both the E9x M and F8X M.

I’m set with MCS 2WR F/R 500/800 lbf/in rates. Street biased setup.

It is one of the best values in the business, with excellent after-sales support.
