sorry to sound like a broken record on this, but what you described is what I was expecting (production number available, but nothing would happen until the may 4 build week) - I wasn't expecting the car to flip to 150 until then. you had mentioned before that once it hits 150 it's actually being built, but given my experience and another poster on this thread, our cars have been in 150 way longer than the typical production beginning to end cycle. is it possible they flipped the switch from order documented to production and it's really just in a production "scheduled" status?

150 means production started... I really don't know why it would be more than a week unless they are out of some part....

112 would be order scheduled for production

yeah, I'm calling BS on the car actually being in production There's no way. There's another guy on here that has the same production date as I do.

When I called BMW they told me there were no production delays. Which, if true, means the system changed. Because it doesn't take 3-4 weeks to build the car.

and i'm definitely in production per the website and phone:

I called yesterday and still at status 150.

Is there something similar with our orders (my order is in my sig)?

Today marks 2 weeks that I have been "In Production" but have not even entered the body shop (151). (Received my production order 2 weeks prior to that)

FWIW, the 800 # has been reporting that my car was in production with an estimated completion date of May 10 for the past 12 days (since Apr 16).

Today, the estimated completion date changed to May 9. joy.

I'm still at a completion date of 5/12 since it went to 150 on 4/16

well for whats it worth I guess we can all rest knowing that it is not just one of us.. there are at least a few of us in the same exact scenario. Today marks 14 days that I have been in status 150 with an estimated completion date of May 9th.

DSB.

I think the most likely explanation is that their tracking system is screwed up somehow. I don't see anything that would cause the delay unless it's just a basic part.

My car finally show the correct color on the website. Still says no confirmed production date though. Anyone know if this means it is getting close to production?
