My M235i finally here with custom painted parts

Finally got my Estoril Blue II M235i. Had the mirrors and diffuser painted body color. Reminds me of my old 99 E36 M3. Didn't really like the dark gray diffuser and silver mirrors. They seemed out of place. Clear bra install too.

I missed a picture when uploading. Uploaded it now. A better rear shot to see the diffuser.

Thanks everyone. I am still thinking of getting IND reflector replacements front and back to make it all one color. Not sure on the rear tho.

Not the best PS but i think it gives you the idea. If anyone else is better at Photoshop and can help out please do.

I would def do the front. Rear 1. Doesn't bother me bc it matches the tail lamp and 2. while not 100% sure I think install might be a bitch.

Yea my thoughts as well. At times i look at it and like the rear all one color. then i look again and like it with the red reflectors. So torn. Front i am most likely going to do.

airport road auto body. They are BMW certified. I heard they heat the parts (being its ABS plastic) before painting. I can only assume to infuse the paint into the plastic. It looks great, no complaints and was told the paint is warrantied for life of ownership

Yes, front, but not rear I agree. You have really dialed the look of this car. I will be doing the same with an Alpine on Terra, for sure.

Do the front for sure. The rears look nice as is. I think it gives it some contrast and matches with the taillights.

If you're torn I'd skip the rear for sure. I did mine basically the same as yours, body colored mirrors and reflectors. Didn't paint diffuser bc it's so close to mineral grey I can't event tell the difference. I honestly don't know what they were thinking on the mirrors.

I'm also a fan of bodycolor vs. contrast. Please excuse that this is Valencia Orange rather than Estoril Blue, but would you consider the grille? This was photoshopped just to consider this treatment, but I'm leaning away from it.

Not a fan, but if going that route I'd say perhaps black surround and body colored fins?
