Ripped off??
I just placed an order for my M235i Coupe Xdrive a few weeks back and wanted to see what you guys think about the deal I'm getting.
MSRP - $55,650.00 Selling Price - $52,000.00 Down Payment - $0 Term/Miles - 36 mo / 10k Monthly Payments - $800.00 Am I getting ripped off???? I had another SA at another BMW dealer (pops got into an 2016 X6 M-Sport ) tell me he could have got it down another $40.00 - $50.00 a month based on this same exact build and terms. I want to save that money but also think he may be pulling my leg. Also I don't want to start my build all over again ( I'm about 3 weeks in ). Note: I have a couple M-Performance parts ( Kidney grills, splitter, diffuser ) but they have been residualized into my payments don't think it would make a huge difference. I also have the code for the $1000 drive event incentive. Please help me out here guys, let me know what you think? |

What are the details of your lease?
Money Factor? Residual? I pulled together the estimate below based upon: Money Factor: .0015 (you could get as low as .0013 but most dealers want .0015 or .0017 Residual: 61% (not sure what the actual is but it should be close to this) Also, I added $2,000 for all of the dealer fees and first payment which are due at signing into your final negotiated price to get the monthly estimate as close as possible. |

ay0 it's me bro.
Get that MF down to .0013. I didn't even have to negotiate the MF. I came in with my numbers and set the base MF at .0013 and my CA just went with it. BTW nice X6 man. Shit was NICE, haha. |

The $800 is reasonable. Basically the issue is the residual of 57% is a bit lower on the 235 compared to the 335 (I just got a 64% residual 3 months ago). Also, by not putting any money down you are baking lease fees of about $2,000 into your deal.

Just a personal observation, I wouldn't say I was "Ripped Off" unless I had already done the deal and somehow been deceived or misled. You can always walk away from this deal and shop around. I'm thinking this is more like a "Is this a fair deal" ? kind of thread...
