Leasing our first BMW
My wife and I are looking to replace her current lease (2013 GTI) with a 2016 M235i, this would be our first BMW.
Our option list is rather modest (prices from the 2016 pricing guide): 2016 M235i Coupe RWD Estoril Blue (+$550) Black SensaTec Cold Weather Package (+$700) Driver Assistance Package (+$950) 18" 436M wheels w/ All-season tires Right now TrueCar is showing $2500-$3300 off of MSRP from three local dealers but those are at 2015 prices. We'd have to order a 2016 (which has a slightly higher MSRP) but should I still expect to be able to get about $2-3000 off of sticker for the new model? Also, any opinions on the upgraded harmon/kardon system for $875? Thanks! iain |

Standard discounts for non M car BMWs generally go like this: 4-5% off is a fair deal, 6-8% off is a good deal and any more off is exceptional. Now with the 2016s, it's hard to say since they are moments away from hitting the lots, but there are no changes other than shuffling packages and pricing. The lease rates on the 2016s on the other hand are much worse than the outgoing 2015s so if you can find a 2015 on the lot, you may be able to save quite a bit or get a more loaded car for the same price.
I ordered the HK sound because I always want the best stock system available but truthfully I didn't listen to either sound system when I test drove. |
