Tracking my order

I have been given a production number by my dealer, who also says that the car went into production on Aug 4. The car is not showing up on the "my BMW" webpage. Is there some set of 'procedures' I need to follow to have it show up?

please call the 800 number for bmw customer relations. press 0 and talk to a live person. 1 (800) 831-1117
