Best solution for car to "bridge the gap?"

So I'm expecting my M235 to come in late October which means I'm going to be out of a car for about a month and a half. Has anyone found creative ways to find something to drive for the short term. Right now, my best option is the local Enterprise where I have a corporate account. It's going to run upwards of $800 a month for a compact though. Ideas?

Buy a super cheap beater car for that much and get more than one month out of it and when your car comes in sell it for what you paid or you can donate it to a charity for a tax write off.

I rented a car from hertz - sign up for gold members and use points in the future for a free rental.

Also, if you are a BMWCCA member / AAA insurance member - you will receive a sweet discount. I think I ended up paying ~650/mo for a kia forte and worked out quite well.

Well I currently have a BMW lease, but I'll be transferring it to someone else. I have a few "buyers" interested and I'm going to initiate the process shortly. I can wait a few weeks, but there's risk in losing the buyers.
