"The most technically advanced all wheel drive system" wow that's a big claim. Quattro seems more advanced to me though.

Did you know that BMW sells more xDrive models per year, than Audi does it's Quattro models! Audi just markets it's Quattro system better than BMW does.

I dislike these third party company's that run the experience events, they just read from a script and are not car people and don't know about much of the new cars and their features.

But with that said videos do not lye, the Audi was an brief epic fail, he'll it had to be physically pushed off the roller blocks by three guys and a driver with his foot on the gas in reverse, now that says a lot!

But on You Tube their are other videos of all different makes subjected to similar tests with different results, but some are of older models vehicles. But the newest gen xDrive clearly seams to stand out, by far the best.

To be Honest, xDrive is waaaay better than both 4Matic and Quattro as seen in the second video.... And i assume that VW's 4Motion is just like Quattro...

+1. Audi was first to use AWD in rally racing, so they market the shit out of that claim. Today, factually, they're not the best. In road racing, Audi will disappoint as it will understeer (FWD biased) which isn't favorable. It is not as fun to drive a car that understeer. BMW xDrive is RWD biased, which makes it feels more like a true sport car as it still easily oversteer.

Notice the second video (above) traction test favors BMW, as they place rollers in the 2 front wheels of the Audi. BMW is RWD biased, so it got out much easier even with on rear wheel touching the pavement. That is true proof that Audi is FWD biased without much research.

I have an F06 xDrive, it truly feels like a RWD with more confident through corners.

xDrive vs Quattro below, probably a slightly biased review but still factual.

Second video is a great example of what makes xdrive so good in bad weather. Everybody loves to say that a good set of snow tires and a good driver is all you need and I used to stubbornly agree. Once I got an drive though I was a believer. Pulling out of an icy driveway with a foot of snow in it without shoveling is something I flat out couldn't have done in any of my rear wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicles. Once I'm moving then yes... Rear wheel drive with dedicated snow tires is fine... It's just that initial start that impresses me.

Didn't know it outsold quatro either.

The xDrive in my E92 335i is very nice indeed. Good grip in snow, except I can't take it out when there's too much snow. For that, I have my trusty old 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. That goes in 2 feet of snow without any issues - no lift kit. Audi Quattro probably is not as good as even my Jeep's.
