Question on BMS Stage 1

I'm trading in my 2013 X3 or an m235i and I currently have the BMS Stage 1 on the X3. Can I just put this on the m235i or are these boxes specific to each car?

Thanks for the help

It was a very noticeable difference. I had one of the older units that allowed you to adjust boost (I think the new ones can adjust again); came with 3.5 above I think and upped it to 4.5 of boost over stock as I use 93 octane and figured if 3.5 was good for 91 then ok running 4-4.5. No issues at all with tune, no limp modes no codes or check engine lights. I know on the new ones they are saying to just plug in first 2 sensors and ignore the other 2, but I've had best drive/power when using first 2 and the last while skipping the MAF sensor. Takes maybe 5-10 minutes at most to install.

I would say it adds about 40-50 torque to wheels which for the price is pretty solid. It's quicker than the Macan S, not the Macan Turbo, but the base model so good enough for an X3.

Email anyone at BMS. You'll get a 100% correct answer right off the bat instead of us all guessing what harness type you have, what engine is in the X3, etc.

Your X3 uses Harness Type B since it is a 2013 model
Your new M235 should use the same harness.
