So I got my KW V2's installed and the car feels absolutely amazing. So impressed with how this added to the handling of the car. The only problem is, I've only experienced it in "comfort" mode. The car won't go into "sport" mode because I'm getting a chassis stabilization code as well as a code for my front headlights and their vertical adjustment inoperable. Anyone familiar with this?
i'll post pics of how the car sits lowered on stock wheels. |

Stupid question but is everything plugged in? Maybe the shop missed something. It seems this may be it because why would installing coilovers affect the headlight motors unless a fuse blew or something isn't plugged in correctly

I'm going to run it back into the shop this morning. I hope it's something as simple as that. I was told by another shop that I need to recalibrate my headlights now that they're sitting lower than what they originally were.

Has the headlight self levelling regulator connector rods front and rear been re-installed onto suspension post KW C/O install ?

Not yet. I do know that the headlight warning is because of the LCA and the solenoid, but I don't know why I'm throwing a chassis code. I'm going to call BMW and see if they're willing to talk about it or just keep saying "don't mod your car."

Quick update. Exhaust is amazing hands down. Recently however I have been getting a bit of sputtering and misfiring and even the performance shop can't figure it out as I'm not getting any codes. I had the flex fuel wire plugged in so I had it unplugged, but it still did it.
The suspension is still keeping it in comfort mode so I have had to order the delete kit and KW told me to send the EDC kit back to them. All that is left to go in is the valve to my exhaust and the brake lines. The performance shop is going to do it and I'm going to see if I can throw my car on their new dyno they got just to see what I'm around. Does anyone have experience working with HorsePowerFreaks.com? I was recommended a few times for my E92. |

Just put the M235i in the shop to get the brake lines installed.
Also, after some talking and data logging, my misfiring was coming from a lack of fuel pressure. It's going to be ran on the dyno just to see if they can pin point where exactly, but as of right now I have a LPFP sitting with them. Will continue to update and then hopefully will get some dyno run videos. |
