That's not bad thanks!
The only bad thing about this car is that it will likely be available right around the same time that there should be some pretty sick deals to be had on an M3. And paying full sticker for an M2 (especially with options) would probably get dangerously close.

looks are good but TRUE FUNCTION should mean NO LIMP MODE. i just saw a beautiful 1m coupe which i was following go into limp mode at the track. we were pushing it pretty good in 100F weather and who knows how hot the track was. e90 family sedan m3 was unphased.
this has me worried about the m2 and pretty much all turbo bmws |

The hood line has got to go, worst design feature, ever!!!!
Supposedly BWM thinks of the hood having 3 primary purposes: 1. Water management. 2. Safety. 3. Design - it's the single biggest panel that immediately catches the eye, why not try harder and go back to the classic, timeless look of having the hood line above the kidney grills???? I feel better now! P.S. And what's with the nasal hair-looking metal bars behind the kidney grills? Clean up that mess while fixing the hood line!!! |

I very much enjoyed the M1 front and the design of the M2 front is difficult to picture with the camo wrap, but I am sure it will flow well with the rest of the car. I don't know if it will beat the M1 front when it comes to aesthetics, but if they are heading towards the GT6 look it will definitely blow the M1 out of the water.

The M3 actually looks good in person due to its lower, wider stance...but it could be better |

The contouring of the front ducting is giving me a pre facelift C63 vibe
If it looks anything like the VGT concept though, have mercy.

I do really hope that this car is going to be one another true bmw (with no sh*t). I'm aimed to get one if so.
For me even under camo it looks sexy. I would like to buy one newly released piece of "true driving pleasure" |

I don't know I was thinking the front side air dam looked a lot like that of the RS4

The camo folks at BMW M have taken care of hiding these. Compare with the 1M test mule of 2010. Don't be misled - the M2 will feature fender vents.

If the fender vents look like the ones on the racing concept, I'll be beyond happy

Wouldn't be surprised if they are. Compared the E9x, the fender flares are way more pronounced on M cars these days.

It's a fine achievement being the first with laser lights but if the rest of the range has basic lights what's the point... Even Apple don't make people go back a step in technology every time they release a new model |
