M235 vs e46 M3

Is there anywhere a visual comparison - discussion between those two cars?
Maybe is somewhere in the forum
and I miss it.
I have a high mileage e46 who needs some time off and to be honest the new M4 looks to big and too expensive for my taste. And I missed the train on ordering an M1.
So this new toy looks tempting till I see an M2 (if there will be one).
Trying to figure out whats the cubic space on the new 2 series with the seats down. Cargo space is also important when I have a lot of sporting gear to carry.

Look under "Comparisons" at our official 2 series thread: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=903957

There's no full visual comparison, but all the physical specs are compared for you.

Don't get me started...
I saw an M6 a few days and it was huuuuuge.
And I still have a hard time trying to figure out if the new 3 series is not a five. Cars got huge...and expensive. I should have bought two e46 m3. One to store it in a bubble wrap and start using it now.
I have on my current one 168k.
Rant over. Mods can delete it.
