oil catch can...
I know the occ is a must for all turbo engines, why no one install it in the 235i?
should i install one or no need for n55 F series? will i see oil in intercooler and intake if i not install it ? |

They aren't nearly as needed in the N55 as they were in the N54. The 55 suffers much less blowby.
Some people still swear by them because they catch SOME oily fluid, but the evidence doesn't support them being "necessary" like they were in the N54. Similarly, the N55 can go much longer without valve blasting than the N54.

No need for F series N55.
BMS sells one that fits for our cars but doesn't list as one of the applicable models because they found it useless. N20 is another story.
