Fabspeed Full Exhaust with Sport Cat Review

Got the system installed this week at Fabspeed, so I can't contribute on how easy or complicated is to install.

Since the install, I've driven it for about 300 miles and no CEL or anything at the moment, I don't have a Flash/Tune/Piggyback, my car was completely stock engine wise and I don't have a way of turning a CEL off like you would with a tune..

The car pulls harder now and the sound is amazing, the buttdyno can tell there is a lot of hidden power with the stock downpipe! The stock downpipe creates a lot of turbo lag, this system eliminates that turbo lag, you can feel and hear the turbo spool and the engine breath.

On the sound now, it is a valved system, you reuse the stock valve. There is absolutely no drone when driving on the highway. On Comfort Mode, it keeps the valve closed the majority of the time, you can hear the exhaust when taking off and when you push it, but for the neighbors it is almost as quiet as stock. On Sport Mode, it just sounds awesome, you'll get a lot of crackle and popping.. at the same time, very refined and enjoyable!

I'll try to get a sound clip and a few pictures as soon as I can.

Overall, I'm really happy with the system and the service from the guys at Fabspeed. Thanks, John@Fabspeed for everything!

Still waiting for the axle back awe. It's a long wait! But in the mean time, goin' for the fabspeed catted downpipe. The awe probably won't happen til mid August unfortunately. Not doing the midpipe for now. I might be happy without it. We'll see.

Hopefully my Dinan stage 2 with CAI will be a good combo with the fabspeed.

You'll love it, it frees up some nice power and you're still catted so no CEL or anything else to worry about

Glad to see you like it!

I've been talking to Nick from Fabspeed for a little while now, I'll probably go with a catless DP next spring

OP if you ever decide to add the JB4 you will have even more control of the valves on the exhaust by utilizing the feature CANflap on the JB4 which allows you to open or close the valves whenever you want right from the BC stalk on the turn signal!

I was Fabspeed's R&D car to build the exhaust, I will also be posting my review and a bunch of sound clips very soon just have been so caught up with my new job

Wow never saw your post... sorry for the late late response...

I've brought my car in for service and the techs were amazed with the exhaust sound, I actually spoke about it and I didn't have any type issues... they only told me not to bring the car with a JB4... lol but zero issues because of the exhaust
