VRSF Charge Pipe Fitment

Anyone else order/attempt to install the VRSF Charge Pipe yet?

I am trying to fit the upper CP and the fitment is impossible...I've tried everything I can think of but still cannot get the CP to mate with the throttle body.

Really frustrating considering I can't drive my car at all right now and VRSF is taking their time getting back to me.

Have you bought the one for an x drive/auto? Maybe you do not have the correct one.

Supposed to be one size fits all...definitely doesn't work on xDrive as I just found out after about 5-6hrs of work

Sorry man. Weird because when buying ER charge pipe you need to specify if it's an RWD or X drive and auto or manual so they're not the same for sure.

Yeah suffice to say that was a miserable two days and I should have just gone ER right away. Not taking anything away from the VRSF pipe as it looks and feels great, just simply doesn't fit the xDrive.

Yeah the customer service is great I will say that! I'll grab the intercooler when they come out with the new one. Unfortunately the charge pipe won't work for me, but Tiago is taking care of me with a refund.

Good to hear they're sorting you out, I keep forgetting the fitting differences between the X drive and the standard.

Bizarre why they're saying one size fits all though...obviously not the case.

We designed this to be universal but it seems we were off by a few MM which has only affected the AWD models. We have a XI specific option that is now available

Good job VRSF, way to step-up in resolving the issue.

Nicely put and way to step up. I'm sure it's a great piece of hardware and once redone for x drives all can enjoy it.

The price is great. Just gotta iron out the bugs I think you guys are def heading in the right direction.

my VSRF pipes have a huge 5/8 hose nipple sticking out of the side of it , I'm told that they all have that nipple so I will have to cut it off and weld the hole shut. No biggie but it's killing me to know why it's there. Can anyone enlighten me ?

Shoot over a picture of your original chargepipe installed and I'll be happy to point out where this fitting is used

I think this is what he's talking about. Just got my car on jack stands to do the install and saw this as well. On my phone it only lets me do 1 picture at a time so look at the next post for the other picture.

This is the stock CP installed....
