FI Exhaust m235i

Anyone have the FI Exhaust on their m235i? Watched the video for the m2 and it sounded mean. Checked the FI website and they have one for the m235i F22.

It's a lot of money and not enough reviews. Buy one and report back to us.

Hmm yea I see what you mean. However, with the catless downpipe, looks like it's around 4k. Isn't that roughly the same price as the full fabspeed exhaust?

I'm seeing $3000, by anyone's standards, that's a lot. There are much better systems for less money out there.

I would love to set you up with an exhaust system. Since I am not allowed to discuss pricing on this thread, I am sending you a PM now!

That's my buddies M2. Sounds great in person. Reminds me of his old r32 GTR. Expensive, but great sounding.

I'm located in Ramstein, Germany for the next year anyways so it'd be a wait for everything stateside to get shipped

Which exhaust does everything think is the best? The sound videos on YouTube never do exhaust justice, but from the videos i feel the FI exhaust and Remus are some of the best ones without going exhaust bypass. I live in a small German neighborhood and I don't want to be "that American" who wakes everyone up at 7am when I go to work.

I have the MPE. I love it. It's quiet enough that I don't wake my neighbors up when I head to work in the morning. BTW I'm at Spang so I know your pain about waiting on parts. You can usually get stuff within two weeks.

Hey Mike did you get your mpe here or ordered from the states? I know smaller parts like brakes and stuff usually takes 1-2 weeks, but was thinking exhaust would be longer

I ordered it here. It was the first thing I did to the car after I picked it up from Munich. I shopped around and found it was cheaper to order it here and have the dealer install it vs ordering from the states, waiting and then either finding time to put it on or have the dealer do it. I ordered the front reflector delete from IND. Those parts got here in less than two weeks.

Nice. I ordered my grills, painted reflectors and mirror caps and steel brake lines from IND a couple days ago. Got the double slat with m tricolor same thing with my new tpms, all season tires, and new rims a couple days ago. Want to have everything here so when the car arrives, the dealer can put everything on for me before I pick it up (gotta wait on customs anyways).

Its personal preference ... I like the REMUS best for a daily driver

If i was building a track car i would go with GThaus or Fabspeed muffler muffler bypass

Just did some digging on realoem.com. Found out that the exhaust and midpipe are different on the 235 and 240. Kind of figured so because of the new engine, but guess I was wishful. At least they have the same brake lines so I can use the new steel brake lines when they get here.

With that being said, REMUS! IF YOURE ON THE FORUM AND NEED A LOANER 240ix FOR FITTING A NEW EXHAUST, PM ME AND WE CAN WORK IT OUT!!!

Caps works right? That's how you get someone's attention?
