Well it's a 3590lb car with x drive cutting a 1.6 60ft time. It's not that hard to believe especially with consistent time slips. Elevation will play a role a well prepped track as well. Every low 12's FBO RWD 235i/335/435 I've seen are trapping 114-115mph. With all that being said again the 1.6 60ft is a huge key in his 1/4 times. It it were a RWD car on street tire you may have to raise an eyebrow or two..

EDIT: and FWIW I've seen pure turbo cars barely scratching into 11's and hanging in the 12 flat second range as if they had an anchor tied to them. You talk about a bigger turbo especially stage 2 with more lag it's making it a top end car. Especially seeing how they wipe the floor on roll races with 150k exotics. Just adding another angle or perspective of you have it when pointing out 1/4 mile times.

And I didn't misread your post, you clearly put its not true and that the fastest FBO 235 with meth was 12.3 1/4, well now you know there's a faster car and it's hitting 11.8. And actually I think his new best is 11.6 there is a video of it floating around hit the search button.
I'm not trying to argue with you, nor am I "badgering" the OP. I was just saying the fastest fbo I know of on street tires was 12.3 with meth, and that I disagreed with the statement that "just a dp and jb4" will get you into the 11s. There's no question that with meth, fbo, and drag radials, these cars can easily make it into the 11s.

I'm happy about OP's times and that he is posting his results, I was just trying to understand why his results seem higher than average, and how to achieve similar results.

Don't know I can't explain why. Same thing with other cars, there are anomalies, I've seen the 2000's ls1 camaros hit 12.9 flat being bone stock while they were suppose to run 13.3's from the factory. Certain anomalies happen. If OP is using meth and not disclosing that info then that's different. If he's squirting water/meth and bragging about hitting 11.8 without it I'm not sure what his motive would be and there's simply to be no gain for him. I personally believe the M235 is a severely underrated car in terms of HP and this is somewhat an end result.

I'm just saying that it's possible and he has proof and videos. This is right in line what tune, and bolt on N54 x drive cars were running in the 1/4 making similar power, granted the engines were different.

I had an 04 cobra with a kenne bell putting down 623rwhp and 598rwtq and I couldn't ever do better then 11.4 but with a 126mph trap. It's all about putting the power down and he seems to have it figured out perhaps.

P.s. It's not an argument this a very good discussion.

Mods aside perhaps the bigger question is how much does driver skill have an impact on these times?
