New "shoes" on the 2er

Added some new "shoes" to the 228i this weekend.

As it sits now.....
Estoril Blue 228i Msport w/ THP
H&R sway bars
Bilstein Clubsport coilovers
F8x LCA's
M Performance front splitter
M Performance rear spoiler
M Performance M235i muffler
Wagner Tuning catted downpipe
P3 VIDI gauge
19" HRE FF15 wheels
Continental DW tires

The car is mostly used on street, but sees a fair amount of track action as well (with Apex EC-7's).

Upcoming plans will include a custom built rear diff, fixed back front seats (unsure of brand at this second), rear half cage, harnesses and solid and/or spherical bushings (think M235iR).

Enjoy!

Awesome! I ordered mine in Fog. It was a little extra, but well worth it.

I'm running 245/35 in the front and 255/35 in the rear.....the front is SUPER tight (with -2.8* of camber too).

Nice, glad to hear you managed to fit 245s up front! I went with 235/35 and 245/35, I'm still on stock suspension so I'm hoping the fronts won't rub...

Sway are awesome! This is the first thing I would do if I did it all over again. Makes a bigger difference than springs....as far as handling goes.

You did front and rear? How hard was install? Heard fronts are intense, pretty much taking apart the engine to install. Does the rear make any difference?

Yes, I did front and rear. The subframes need to be lowered (front and rear) in order to install. It's not like doing sways in other cars......more of a project.

The sway bars stiffen up the chassis a lot and drastically reduce body roll. I think labor costs will be more than what most people are used to, but again, well worth it.

Thanks guys!

I love the car.....most importantly the handling. The grip it's amazing on track.

Style-wise, the HRE's totally set it off though.

Most of the work done on the car is myself. I work at Turner Motorsport, so our techs do some work as well.......when I'm too "busy" (read lazy).
