Thoughts on 2 series M performance decals?

Purchased these for my car, I think they spice the car up nicely without being too flashy, I have the M sport pack for my 228 so I believe it blends pretty well. My car is alpine like in the picture and I plan on getting some of the other M parts as well. New to the forum btw

looks great on the Alpine; especially with other black features (grills, tint, shadow window trim etc.)

Absolutely love Estoril, though i agree it wouldn't pop as much as on an Alpine. If i had the choice between the 2 when i bought it though i probably would have gotten the estoril!

Bottom ones look great. I don't like the top ones.

I'm guessing you don't use that ladder very often.

Could have told you Brad doesn't like the top ones....LOL...he has told me same to my face here. BUT I like both...especially the top one as it defines the belt line and takes it out of 3 series confusions....best take I have on it. LOL#2. And NO, he does not use that ladder toooo often. He has "people hired" for that!! LOL #3

I'm still unsure on whether to get the top decals. I have an EBII M235i, so I'm not sure how good they would look.

The bottom ones are awesome! Really love mine!

Bottom M Performance ones look good.

Upper belt-line ones - I'm not a fan.

I don't get why decals? If you want it black I recommend having it properly painted or if you don't want it as permanent, have it wrapped.

(Obviously referring to side skirts)

My mate has decals on his 135i and it's peeling after less than a year

I do think the bottom ones look nice. Also another thing about the bottom ones is it will protect the paint under it. Its in an area that gets a lot of debris kicked up from the tires and also protects it from your foot and leg getting in and out.

I really like the bottom M Performance Decals,

The only thing stopping me from getting it is that i have a 228

Proper ///M owners look down on you imo when you rock things like that without having a proper M.

So THAT'S what that thing is! I was told it was a lightweight racing shelf.

I wouldn't care too much about other people's opinion on what you put on YOUR car. M purists also complain about putting M logos on the M235i just because it's not a real M car. Frankly, I don't care since it's MY car and I have to look at it every morning.

Here's a better shot of the bottom decals from my car (fresh, took 'em today):

I know what you mean, I honestly think they look good the bottom ones... Sometimes it does matter about opinions that's like when people have fake wheels versus real wheels...

Its not just about what people think, Its more... Take it like a NORMAL WRX which you know is a normal one... And imagine putting STi sticker decal on it tell me how you feel about that, its very similar to this situation i beliece

I understand what you mean and I do agree with you that it looks rather silly, but hey, it's their car. I am not really bothered by it. You wouldn't get any crap from me if you decide to put M decals on your 228i. It's still a great car I guess what it comes down to is that you shouldn't let other people dictate what you do with something you worked hard for.
