AWE Exhaust Tips with ///M Performance Diffuser - SOLUTION

Hey All,

I recently installed my AWE Exhaust w/ Midpipe on my 16 M235 w/ M Performance Diffuser. The tips that AWE provided allowed for a bit of adjustment, but unfortunately the wrong direction. Therefore, I was left with sunken in tips which was not a good look at all.

I am working with AWE on providing measurements, etc so they can develop adapters, but in the meantime I found a good inexpensive workaround.

Parts:

- (2) Part Number 41951 Exhaust Pipe Straight Connectors
Multiple companies sell these (Walker, EXH, Dynomax). They can be found on Amazon, NAPA, Autozone, etc. I bought mine from a local NAPA that stocked them.

- (2) 2 1/4" Exhaust Clamps
Any 2 1/4" exhaust clamp will work the same, got mine at NAPA

All in, this cost me $13, and ten minutes of my time to install. All you need to do is install one end on the tailpipe with the clamp, then attach/adjust the tip as you see fit. The size of the connector ends up being perfect.

Good info! Thanks for sharing it. I'm actually going to wait until AWE comes with a solution for this. I really don't get how they didn't solve this since the beginning, as a lot of us have the performance diffuser.

You may just want to utilize my solution for the time being...it's so cheap!

However, I will update this thread once I get with AWE on the measurements

Sorry, my post. I had some messages in draft that the app would not let me delete for months and then just posted regarding stuff you already answered. I should have reworded that.
