Took it to Bierkholz DeJong in Naperville, Il they do mighty fine work. Saw a brand new 435 X drive in there with major front end damage, as well as a Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series. Guy said they just finished up a Ferrari 599 as well.

Don't forget to file for Diminished Value!!!! Hopefully your state allows it. Her record is tainted, she's worth less in the used market. Make sure your assets are made financially whole.

Dad was rear ended in his Cayenne GTS, car was valued at $9K less due to the accident, he'll see a check for $7K to cover some of the difference.

If your state doesn't allow you to recoup lost value, that presents another strong case for leasing cars like these.

Beautiful car. Hope it gets fixed well or replaced.

Mine was wrecked on May 3 and I still don't have it back. But it's been a unique experience seeing how they cut the damaged parts out. Just started welding. Working on how to separate the matte finish inside the trunk versus the back of the car with the seam sealer to not have any paint lines.

And yes do not forget dished value.

Just talked to the shop yesterday car goes in for paint Monday so should finally get it back next week sometime!

They said around 17k worth of damage to the outside I'll know next week if they needed a new exhaust for it as well.

Went to the shop today to check on the car... After about a week delay for paint because of the wrong bumper pieces the car is finally being out together and sent to paint next week. Crossing my fingers that there are no more setbacks as they just told me today they now found suspension damage

Looks terrible with frame damage. No way that I would keep that car. I would trade it in and make his insurance pay the difference.

We fought for insurance to replace the car but they would not. Although that was before the frame was bent and now the suspension

Hire an independent consultant to write you a diminished value report and send it over to the other party's insurance company. It costs 300-400 bucks but will get you thousands of dollars in diminished value claim. I'd be surprised if you get less than $10,000 if the car is not totaled.

Can't do that either in minnesota there is a law that states you cannot prove because of an accident that a cars value is diminished so you can't file a claim for diminished value trust me we tried.

That sucks. Most states have a diminished value claims.

I literally found this with 5 minutes of google searching and about 10 other places and consulting websites saying the same. Our insurance places must be on crack.
