Either a live person at the 800# or your CA will have the vessel info. You can then track the ship on various marine websites.

Give it a day or two. A lot of these systems take time to update.

One of the reasons I ended up going with this car was because they still offered a 6MT!

I heard that manual transmission cars for BMW in the US only makes up a small percentage of their sales volume, which is why there's less and less models that even offer it in the US.

For those checking the website and calling the 800 number, there was approx a 2 day delay for my car's status. My ship's departure date was the 3rd. I check the site everyday and today was the first instance it updated and told me my baby was in transport.

Hahaha fair enough.

I don't know about your ship but I don't think mine will be re-routed.

I took a look at both the PMA website and the ILWU website and they're both blaming each other but PMA sent them an "All-in" agreement that pretty much meets their salary and pension requirements so I would expect them to sign soon.

Yep, our boat is now in the Atlantic dead zone, I don't think it'll show up again until it gets close to Panama. And yeah, they won't be shipping the cars from the east coast by truck, ha. That's *very* expensive. Hopefully by the time the boat gets to California the longshoreman will be eager to unload it to get a first person look at some of the available BMWs they'll be in the market for.
