True, I took euro delivery and never worried about it, I could get 10k in damage driving off the lot and getting t boned and at least it's not on my insurance for 5 years. I guess my point is things happen, and there in the end just cars.

I mean if you want to talk diminished value, I took a hit to a 991 that cost more than my 2er, and took more than 9 months to fix. I did not care I walked away, with only a few bruises. Plus I ended up buying a 2er while I waited for it to be fixed, and liked it more plus got to go to Europe with the wife.

BMW located a new 2015 X1 in stock out East nearly identical the one ordered - only difference is that it includes the panoramic moonroof (and it's not the past tense of en fuego). Either that or order the 2016. BMW offered to take care of the additional cost either way. Girlfriend greenlighted the 2015; it should be here soon.

Same thing, except I didn't have the premium package. So they will cover the cost for at least the premium package upgrade on a 2015 if not more(two offers in one, the will pay any shipping expenses and for the upgrade). I ordered black on black, the dealership has a fully loaded black on black. So I'm waiting to find out what the consensus is on that one. If they say no to the one on my dealers lot and if they can not find one black on black, with the same options I originally had and premium package. Then I can order a 2016 and BMW will cover the additional cost.

Sounds good. Sucks the car went up in flames. After digging around, I was surprised to see that the 2008 incident was also the M/V Courage. Next time I order, I'll probably try to figure out how to avoid that ship!

I will be getting my M235xi tomorrow. We came to an agreement on the fully loaded one my dealership has on the lot. BMW Munich and my dealership (Patrick BMW in Schaumburg) really took care of me and helped me out. I ordered a Black on Black, xdrive, with cold weather package. I will be getting a Black on Black, xdrive, with Premium Package (which includes upgrading to Genuine Leather), Technology Package, Harman Radio, Driver Assistance, and black kidneys. All this and they only asked me to bring an additional $2,000 at closing.

Special shout out to Hyper for making sure I didn't go full retard through this ordeal.

Yea, pretty much went from getting a base with 4% off MSRP to almost fully loaded at 10% off MSRP.
