weird oil like glaze on windscreen
I’ve noticed this on my windscreen after I use the washers, is it something in the screen wash or maybe some cleaning product on the screen itself!?

When was young working at a gas station they had the similar design washer fluid bottles right next to the similar designed brake fluid bottles.
That mistake still haunts me. |

The 1 and 2 series are notorious for issues around washer concentrate, specifically mixing BMW and non-BMW fluids. So I would suggest you flush out whatever is there and then continue using the BMW stuff consistently.
