I had a SmartTop on my 911 cab and it was great. It gave me one touch up and down for the top, and actually a whole bunch of cool things. I contacted them about when they might make a SmartTop for my new 2 and they need a volunteer with the new convertible in the area of Las Vegas, Los Angeles or Phoenix. I don't have any finical interest in the company or any affiliation with them, I just want a SmartTop for my car. Here is their info, check it out for the 1 or 3 series, really cool.

If you want the 1 touch up and down soft top operation, you should be able to get that coded! I had it on my e46 convertible so I'm sure the f23 has it as well.

The smartTop does way more than that, it also allows one touch from the key fob from the same distance as the door lock/unlock. as it is now you have to be real close to the car for that to work. It has too many cool things to list, just check it out. Also a new software update won't disable it.
