Just throwing it out here that I ordered my 2016 M235 xdrive convertible on Saturday with Superman combo! I'm a Spider-Man fan so it's more a spidey combo than superman.
I'm taking receipt in late October (hopefully) at the PDC and I will be detailing the whole engagement.
Pictures and a complete write up will be done of the car and my experience on taking delivery at the PDC.

From what I gather on the forums the "superman" or more correctly super hero combo is blue exterior with red interior. So for mine it's Estoril Blue exterior and Coral red interior. That combo is used on at least three major super heroes in marvel comics and I'm sure a bunch more.
In theory, the red white combo you mentioned would also be applicable to a bunch of other super heroes as well.

I'm going with the Spider-Man nomenclature for my car as I am more Marvel than DC comics.
