Auto top down (vert) from Keyfob

So I tried searching and vaguely remembered someone asking this a while back but I just tried it today.

If you push and hold the unlock button on the keyfob (while near the car) the windows will roll down and then a few seconds later the top will put itself down. Nice little trick, especially if you're trying to throw some big piece of cargo in the back seat.

I assume that if you code auto window rollup, it will probably also put the top up for you. I will have to get the car coded and give it a shot.

Really? Sweet. On my F30 the windows wouldn't roll up automatically since they figured a baby would be sticking out the window.

I have comfort access, but I wouldn't think that would matter.

I have a new M235i (for two weeks) and just tried the top up/down with the keyfob. Neither work. Car has comfort access. Windows roll down (or up) so I believe I'm following the right steps. Genius also says it should work but they're supposed to call me back, the guy I talked to was stumped.

Any ideas?

Besides not being able to figure this out, I LOVE THIS CAR!

Make sure you are very close to the car. It will lock and unlock from very far away but the top only works when you are close, unless you get a SmartTop. See this thread
