Help me out with this message from Remus. For a full turbo back system you will need the first three pieces plus a choice of the 1 of 2 last ones listed? The catback system would be minus the first piece (downpipe)?

If you're going cat back you will need the first three part numbers.

Then choose one of the tail pipe designs. either black chrome or regular chrome/stainless?

Really? The way I read it was the first three pieces included a new downpipe making it a "turboback" setup. My question is do you need to fit three pipes from the catalytic converter back (two separate parts listed) and then the muffer with one of two tip types?

The stock pipe (BMW) from the cataytic converter back is one welded piece including the muffler. I was expecting the after market pipe to be a two-piece mid pipe and then a muffler attached. I guess they break the mid pipe up into three pieces to make it easier to ship which means if you don't want clamps you will have to get it welded.

Compared to some other systems it seems to be priced okay. Under $2K for the catback system might be alright. Just don't want to be the first one.

The video on youtube is the Full turbo back exhaust correct?

Any sound clip for the axleback/muffler only?

Yes, the video was taken with a full turbo back setup. We only have this video at the moment and we are working on sound clips for the other setup. I will keep you updated about it. Please stay tuned.

^ On that note, any sound clip for the cat back system? And surely the power gains are only for the turboback? How about gains, if any, for thecat back?

This is the only sound clip we have at the moment. I will definitely let you know if we have some more media on the Cat-back and axle back system. Power gain doesn't just happen in our turbo-back setup, you should expect about 7-8 HP gain from the cat-back. For maximum gains, the turbo-back system plus an ECU tune will be the way to go.

yes its expensive but i dont think there're cheap exhaust for any bmw

exhaust is all about sound and a tiny bit of HP gain...if you're getting an exhaust for HP gain then dont waste your money

It is not just a plain tip. It has electronically control valve on it.
If you need more information, here is the link to our commercial thread of the exhaust that includes all the possible media of the product.

Why not just post the price with tips and then you just choose your color. It makes it seem as though trying to do a bate and switch. The muffler price alone is enticing but then you get slammed with another 600 for tips. Just an odd way to advertise and sell something that must all work together. Just call it 1100 axle back muffler with your chose of tip color. Black cost a bit more. That makes more logic.

Now that i have seen the pics you provided in the other thread I see what you talking about. But on your site you don't show pics of the tips like that. Making it hard to understand why the high cost for tips.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely let REMUS know and see if we can adjust the way of presenting the package. I'm not quite sure about what you said in the 2nd paragraph about the pics of the tips. We have exactly the same image on our website as the pics we have on the thread. Let me know how I can assist further.

I also agree is a bit confusing and that they should come as 1 or 2 package instead of piece meals. I understand Companies need to make a profit but they also have to know their audience. I dont believe any 235 owners will spend this kind of money on a exhaust as we can already see the response
